I’ve been running pretty regularly for almost ten years now. I love it! I love
how strong I feel when I run, and I love how grounded in my body it makes
me feel. Generally I run 5kms three or four times a week. Last spring I was
getting a bit bored though, so to challenge myself, I started a sixteen week
training program to run 10kms in under 55 minutes. It took me closer to
five months, but in the end, I ran my 10kms in 47.38!
I decided to go for it again this spring, and last week was our first week.
It starts easily, so last week was nice and breezy. Talk to me again in a
few months when I’m running 40kms a week!
