Ladies and Gentlemen I have an announcement to make: I am retiring from eating.
Last night I officially had the best meal my little taste buds have ever had and I’m not sure I can ever
go back to regular food. I went to George Restaurant for a tasting and enjoyed the (sometimes pickled)
fruits of Chef Lorenzo Loseto’s incredible culinary imagination. What made my night is seeing our
very own Toronto Cooks cookbook open to his personal page at the front desk.
I will not divulge into the details of my meal but I will leave you with this: candied garlic exists and
butter poached lobster changes a person.
