The other day I was hunting around for my copy of Kate Beaton’s Hark! A Vagrant

(I have a signed copy! I wanted to show it off!), and I came across Haroun and the

Sea of Stories on my shelf. I particularly like the cover on the edition I have, so I was

admiring it again, and realized I haven’t read it in ages. So I’m working my way

through it, one chapter per evening, just like a bedtime story from my childhood.

It’s lovely to read something slowly, savouring it rather than racing to the finish line!
