Christmas came early on Thursday, Oct. 2nd when I received my copy of DIRIGIBLE DREAMS by

C. Michael Hiam from ForeEdge / UBC Press.

I have actually been thinking about this book at least once a week since it was presented to us by the

UBC Press crew back in April.

If you aren’t on the zeppelin bandwagon yet, this is your warning to get on. It’s not just a steampunk

thing anymore – zeppelins are cool again. Maybe your dad has an old one in the attic that

he flew to Woodstock in or something? Maybe you can take it

down to your favourite craft brewery this weekend and impress everyone?

Just watch out for when the handicrafts people get wind of this and start

selling $100 vintage helium in mason jars to power it.

All kidding aside, this is rad. I’m about halfway through. I’ll let you

know how it goes. I’ll try not to spoil the ending.
