This long weekend I made some delicious fish tacos using recipes from two of our cookbooks.
From Chronicle’s One Pan, Two Plates:
I made a crunchy, sweet and spicy chipotle coleslaw from the Catfish Tacos
And from my all-time favourite cookbook, Grow What You Eat, Eat What You Grow from
Arsenal Pulp Press:
I made the Beer-Battered Fish.
The result was FANTASTIC.
And the best part? There was leftover beer and leftover batter. Which meant dessert! Cinnamon and sugar donuts:
These were a big hit…with our stomachs.
