A good start to the week for Dan Wells, founder of Biblioasis – our Windsor -based publisher
who had three titles longlisted for the Giller – pictured above with Dan. Yesterday
it was announced that two of those titles: Martin John by Annakana Schofield and
Arvida by Samuel Archibald (translated by Donald Winkler,) have made the Giller
shortlist. The third book that made the longlist, Confidence by Russell Smith has also
been nominated for the Rogers Writers’ Trust Fiction Prize.
