Last night was the annual Scotiabank Pongapalooza, supporting First Book Canada‘s literacy initiatives!

It was the first time Ampersand had its own team, The Smash Williams. Nobody got the Friday Night Lights reference.

Nevertheless, we fueled up with poutine, chicken wings, calamari, and potato wedges and headed to the event.

We won the first round against Team Stephen Ping. Don’t believe me? Shame on you. Here’s proof:

Unfortunately we lost the 2nd round to the Kings of the North, but on our way out we saw these puppies and all was good with the world.
