Auzou has been in existence since 1973 specializing in dictionaries and encyclopedias. In 2006 Gauthier Auzou, one of the sons of the founder, Philippe Auzou, developed the youth branch. In 2009 Loup, the beloved wolf in “The Wolf Who Wanted to Change Color” was introduced and in the 10 years since its birth, has sold more than 7 million books around the world. From 2012 to today Auzou has expanded their collection to include illustrated novels, DIY jewelry, notebooks, card games, and comics. In 2023 they celebrated their 50th anniversary and are the 4th largest publisher in the children’s book market and are being sold in more than 60 countries.
