Ampersand Inc. is currently seeking a fellowship candidate from an underrepresented community to join our team, based out of either our Toronto head office or our Vancouver office, for a paid 10-week contract position.

Ampersand Inc. is an award-winning Canadian sales agency, repping the coolest books, stationery, puzzles, gifts & games coast-to-coast across a number of different publishers & lines. We work with some of the best Canadian indie publishers, as well as a wide array of US & UK publishers.
The Fellow will complete a variety of activities and projects that will support our Ampersand staff. The Fellow will also be given the opportunity to connect with industry professionals, grow their network, and build their professional portfolio. The Fellow will work with a variety of software, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Microsoft Teams), and social media apps such as Instagram and Canva.
The successful candidate must be a strong communicator, dedicated, reliable, and have a desire to work in the publishing industry. This role requires a patient, motivated, organized, and detail-oriented person who can commit to 40 hours a week (for 10 weeks), Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. The role will be hybrid and in-office time will be spent in either the Toronto or Vancouver office.
