What to Do?

November 14, 2016 | by

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past 18 months, you know what’s going on in the US these days. After a few comforting glasses of wine on Tuesday night, I decided that instead of feeling powerless, I should try to be the change I want to see in the world!

Here are some books I’m spending time with:

Feminist Journal (09/27/16) 9781452158891 | Chronicle Books | RAI Journal | Price: $14.95

Becoming Unbecoming by Una (09/26/16) 9781551526539| Arsenal Pulp Press | UTD Comics & Graphic Novels | Price: $24.95

Break, The by Vermette, Katherena (09/02/16) 9781487001117 | House of Anansi | UTD Fiction| Price: $22.95

The Break by Katherena Vermette (09/02/16) 9781487001117 | House of Anansi | UTD Fiction| Price: $22.95

I’m also taking some comfort in my monthly donation to the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre, my annual donation to Plan Canada,  and my new plans to volunteer with Reconciliation Canada.

No matter where you live, you can make a difference in the lives of people in your community, and around the world!
