Q. How many Account Managers do you have?
A. We have 13 sales reps, as well as support staff across the country.
Q. How many publishers do you currently represent?
A. We currently represent over 60 Canadian, U.S. and international publishers. You can check them out here.
Q. I’m a retailer/publisher/wholesaler/librarian. Who do I contact?

Q. I’m a teacher/school librarian. Can I purchase books from you? Who do I contact?
A. We do not sell directly to schools or school librarians – we recommend purchasing your books from an educational wholesaler.
Q. Where is your head office located?
A. Our head office is located in Richmond, BC (just south of Vancouver). We have offices located in Toronto, Winnipeg, Ottawa, and Victoria.
Q. How long has your company been around?
A. Ampersand has been part of the Canadian publishing industry for over 50 years, and has been part of the gift market for over 10 years. For more information, see here.
Q. Do you distribute books/gift lines?
A. We do not distribute books or gift lines.
Q. Can I send you my manuscript?
A. As we are not a publisher, we don’t publish books – and as such, we do not accept manuscripts.
Q. Do you attend book fairs/gift shows?

Q. Are all prices in the catalogues Canadian prices?
A. Unfortunately, most catalogues list the American price. For Canadian prices, please contact your sales rep.
Q. Do you have a showroom I can visit?
